I have been to the mountain top of software sales and I’ve taken a piece of humble pie. I’ve crushed quota. Missed quota. And everything in between. But through the roller coaster of sales, I was a consistent top producer at sales organizations such as Cvent, Forrester Research and Bloomberg. I’ve learned from the best and I’ve worked on some of the top sales teams in the country.
The most important job for a company is hiring. It’s making sure you have the right talent in place to execute on your mission. And contrary to what some may think, a sales team is the heartbeat of the company. Call me biased, but you’ll only go as far as your sales team takes you. They are the tip of the spear when it comes to your operations. That’s where the action is. That’s where I like to be.
And that’s why I started the Sales Scout. I wanted to take my 17+ years of experience of sales experience to help companies hire the sales talent as well as help them execute on their sales strategy. Sometimes you need an outside set of eyes and ears to engage with your market and help you start your sales engine.
